Risk factors for premature placental abruption: a retrospective observational comparative study

AIM: This study aimed to determine the risk factors for premature placental abruption (PPA).
 MATERIALS AND METHODS: A retrospective comparative was conducted at Republican Perinatal Center of Petrozavodsk. The group included 106 patients with a confirmed diagnosis PPA from 2007 2017. control (comparison) women without and abnormal placenta.
 RESULTS: statistical data analysis revealed following PPA: lack higher education in patient (odds ratio [OR]: 0.51, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.280.90); smoking (OR: 3.41, CI: 1.298.97); chronic liver disease 7.29, 1.6033.06); uterine abnormalities 8.57, 1.0569.79); pelvic inflammatory 6.12, 2.5614.62). effect hypertension, kidney disease, anemia on occurrence our not significant.
 CONCLUSION: An increased found who smoke abnormalities, diseases.
